What is it?

This is the 11th Annual Aug Fest celebrating the 13th birthday of August Doussan.  August will be performing with his band, Hell Priests, as well as with the Red Rocks All-Stars. The  All-Stars are comprised of members of the band that August played with to a sold out Red Rocks earlier this year. Special guests include Reggie Scanlan, Cr Gruver, Mike Doussan, Marc Paradis, Derek W. Dooms and more. 

What to expect?

Aug Fest is an all ages show that showcases talented young musicians.  Hell Priests are a Groove Metal duo that focuses on heavy, groove oriented riffs, screaming guitar solos, and odd time signatures. The Red Rocks AllStars focus more on paying tribute to hits we all know and love. With adult members of the New Orleans music community joining in on the fun, there are sure to be some moments not to be missed!

Bring your family! Also, there will be a $10 suggested cash donation at the door.

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
      We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed.
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for  The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  •  We have a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. You are welcome to bring your own chairs, if you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
