Wine tastings at The House are back for 2024! We kick off our return with an Autumn Selection of wines to prepare you for the incoming cold nights and hearty dinners.

Nick Reed, our resident ”wine Geek", is back too. He will be presenting and guiding you through his take on various wines that are perfect for the upcoming autumnal change. Nick is a Sandbach-based wine merchant and supplier to many restaurants, pubs and hotels in the North West. You will be offered the chance to sample quality wines with 'live' tasting notes and commentary provided by Nick.

Complimentary sharing platters will be provided by The House Team to enhance your enjoyment of the wines. Along with specially selected and paired cheeses by Dan at Godfrey, C Williams and Sons.

The House, over the last 12 months, has grown not only in popularity but also in size. With the recent expansion we’re excited to be able to increase the number of tickets and give more people the opportunity to experience one of our sell out events. However, as we still want to maintain the intimate House setting, tickets will still be limited and the allocation of tables will be done by management to ensure a comfortable and safe environment.

Blackwater & Grubb is a family run business based in Sandbach, Cheshire.

When people kept telling us there were places that needed a Grab & Go service -ideally with great tasting coffee. We responded with a van in Sandbach Park. and quickly became referred to as 'The Heart of The Park'. One year later we were getting told Sandbach was missing an artisan coffee shop, so we created The House in the heart of town.

The only artisan coffee outlets in Sandbach serving multi award-winning, specialist coffee 10 days per week.

We adopted Sandbach Park as our home base and we were inspired by our customers who tell us what a great addition we've been to the park. We are committed to offering high quality, great value artisan coffees, teas and homemade cakes and bakes as well as some hot savouries and snacks.

We endeavour to source food and drink locally to minimise "food mileage" and we exclusively use fully compostable, bio-degradeable cups, lids and packaging on our van and in our shop.

We appreciate local support for local businesses like ours and we offer a loyalty card giving customers the opportunity to earn a free drink as a thank you. Collect your card when you visit and get it stamped for every hot drink bought from us.

Whether you’ve got time to stick around or you’re just coming to grab an on-the-go bite to eat, we've got you covered.

Stop by when you are in the area! Both locations are just a couple of minutes off J17/M6 so we are a great alternative to motorway services for a recovery break or meeting with friends.
