RESERVED TABLE: Pillar of Service Award Luncheon

Join Us in Honoring a Legacy of Service
We are honored to invite you to the 2025 Pillar of Service Award Luncheon, a heartfelt gathering dedicated to celebrating the life and enduring legacy of Mrs. Audrey Lorraine Malone Simmons (October 19, 1931 – January 21, 2025), one of the museum’s beloved founders.
This year’s award will be presented posthumously to Mrs. Simmons in recognition of her lifelong service to the community and her extraordinary contributions to preserving African American history and culture. At 93, she leaves behind a legacy of excellence, compassion, and dedication that continues to inspire generations.
The luncheon program will feature distinguished speakers, touching presentations, and live musical entertainment. In honor of Mrs. Simmons’ love of jazz, there will be a special performance by Jumpstreet Band with saxophonist Bradley Collins, along with additional entertainment and a program emcee to be announced.
Held in the welcoming setting of the Marriott Hotel Owings Mill Metro Centre, this uplifting afternoon will bring together family, friends, community leaders, and supporters to celebrate service, history, and culture.
Dress Code: Business casual or church Sunday attire.
Join us for an afternoon of reflection, recognition, and inspiration as we pay tribute to a remarkable woman whose life exemplified the true spirit of service.
