HOW IT WORKS:
- Drop off your clothing 1-2 days before the event. Check out our drop off days below. This will give us time to sort the clothing as well as count how many items was brought in per person. We will sort clothing by size, category and color. Please bring any unwanted kids hangers, this includes store hangers!
- On swap day you will be able to enter the building at 5:45pm with a name tag and how many items you brought to the swap. This is the number you will be able to leave with at the end of the event! Swapping will start at 6:10 sharp.
- Any and all items will be donated to the Christian Center in Anderson, IN
This swap is just for sizes NB - 4t. Please check out our toddler swap another day for toddler sizes.
FAQ's:
How do I bring my items? Freshly launder, folded. It would be amazing if items were sorted by sizes and matching pieces were together.
How Many Items can I bring? As many as you would like!
Will I get my items back that don't get picked? No, we will donate any unpicked items to the Christian center in Anderson.
Can I bring my kids? To make this process better and faster for everyone we ask that you leave kids at home. Babies that can be worn are okay.
Do I have to stay the whole time? No, as soon as you are done swapping and we count your items you are free to leave!
Is it just clothing items? At this time is it just clothing items, Shoes, socks, bows and hats.
Can we swap toys? No
I only have size 4t clothing and need size 5, what do I do? You may drop off items for our baby clothing swap but only attend our toddler swap.
What if I bring 30 items but only find 20 in the swap that I take home? That is okay, any left over items will be donated to children in need!
What if I can't make it to the drop off times? These early drop off times give us the time to sort and get the swap ready. If you are interested in swapping but cannot attend the drop off days please email kali at loveandgrace.pendleton@gmail.com to coordinate a time.
Can I bring someone to "shop" with me? No, only people who bring items in to swap are allowed to "shop"
Whats the cost? it is $10 per swapper
