Square Cat Vinyl is a one of a kind record shop in the Fountain Square Cultural District in Indianapolis. The space is comprised of a record store, performance venue, and a bar serving beer, wine, and coffee drinks. Our mission is to be a music communal space for local and traveling musicians. We serve as a meeting ground for musicians of different types and ages along with music aficionados throughout the region.

The Back Alley Ballyhoo psych fest is back for its 6th year in 2025! After a year away, we are debuting a more streamlined version of the fest but still with just as much high level psych energy as ever before. We're featuring a fantastic lineup of local and regional psych bands that are sure to melt your brain. The 2025 lineup features:

We're also featuring some amazing projection artists including Liquified, Visual Vibrations by Jen, and Grumpy Crumb Projections.
