Description

Back to the Future starts at 8:50pm - Marty McFly accidentally travels back to 1955 in a time-traveling DeLorean built by eccentric scientist Doc Brown. Marty meets his parents as teenagers and alters history, threatening his own existence. With Doc's guidance, he navigates past events to ensure his teenage parents-to-be meet and fall in love so he can return to 1985. 

Smokey and the Bandit starts around 10:50pm - The Bandit (Burt Reynolds) and the Snowman (Jerry Reed) are hired to illegally haul 400 cases of Coors beer from Texas to Atlanta in 28 hours. The plot turns wild when the Bandit picks up Carrie (Sally Field), a runaway bride whose jilted groom is the son of relentless Texas Sheriff Buford T. Justice (Jackie Gleason).

Established in 1959 by Peter Carelas, the Greenville Drive-In has been a social fixture and destination in the Northern Catskills for over six decades. The drive-in was revived and re-imagined in 2015 by Dwight Grimm and Leigh Van Swall and, as of 2026, the theatre is being operated by Scene One Entertainment. 

The Greenville Drive-in is outfitted with modern digital projection and audio equipment for an enjoyable entertainment experience. The licensed biergarten serves local beer, wine & creative cocktails, enhancing the traditional concessions offerings inside. Check our listings for nights when there is live music on the stage prior to the screenings. 

The typical drive-in season begins in mid-May and runs until October.
