Denver, Colorado 80205Join us for an intimate performance at our home, "York Street Live" in Denver, Colorado. You're in for a treat as we feature the lively and popular local Latin Ska band, Roka Hueka, with members from Mexico, Colombia, and the US.
Roka Hueka’s music draws on influences such as Cumbia, Funk, Rock, Reggae, Soul, Punk and traditional Ska. Songs talking about love, unity, high energy, and positivity will make you dance and groove!
The Denver-based band has been touring nationally, spreading positive vibes and powerful danceable music, delighting audiences and attracting new fans everywhere they go.
Roka Hueka has been named one of the Top Ten Latino bands in Colorado, featured on the cover of Westword Magazine, and performed and headlined at major venues around the region for thousands.
Now see them in a rare private setting, and enjoy a buffet of homemade bites and refreshments inspired by Mexican tradition as we toast the upcoming Mexican Independence Day!

York Street Live is the backyard of our private home that we occasionally turn into a music and art venue, in the heart of Denver, Colorado. We are your hosts, Eric Matelski and Amy McKnight. Our backyard house concerts, paired with Eric's art studio create the perfect setting for an evening of live music, enjoying art, food and drink; and relaxing with friends in our urban oasis.
Confirmed attendees will receive email updates and details closer to showtime.
Doors open at 5:00. Performance begins at 6:00pm.
Seating is first-come, first-served. (But you'll be up dancing.) You'll be in a private outdoor setting, please plan accordingly.
Your ticket price is a donation for the musicians, and includes refreshments. Additional donations go 100% to the artist and are greatly appreciated.
Art by Eric Matelski will have an open art studio.
Artwork and band merchandise will be available for purchase.
