Hiroya Tsukamoto is a one-of-a-kind composer, guitarist, and singer-songwriter from Kyoto, Japan. He began playing the five-string banjo when he was thirteen and took up the guitar shortly after. Hiroya has been enthralling audiences with his intricate fingerstyle guitar performances, weaving in elements of folk, jazz, and world music. His music is deeply emotive and his concerts are known for their tranquil and introspective atmosphere.
Tsukamoto brings a blend of masterful fingerstyle guitar and evocative storytelling that transcends cultural barriers. His artistry, honed at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, has been celebrated on renowned stages like the Blue Note in NYC and the United Nations, and lauded for its “delicate, fluid, and beautifully detailed” style by Acoustic Guitar magazine.

York Street Live is our private backyard we occasionally turn into a music and art venue, in the heart of Denver, Colorado. We are your hosts, Eric Matelski and Amy McKnight. Our backyard house concerts, paired with Eric's art studio create the perfect setting for an evening of live music, enjoying art, food and drink; and relaxing with friends in our urban oasis.

Doors open at 6:30. Performance begins at 7:30pm.
Seating is first-come, first-served, and every seat has a great view. You'll be in a tranquil and private outdoor setting.
Your ticket price is a donation for the musician, and includes refreshments. Additional donations go 100% to the artist and are greatly appreciated.
Art by Eric Matelski will have an open art studio.
Artwork and musician's merchandise will be available for purchase.
