Description

A BRAND NEW THEATRE CAMP for TEENS (12-17)!  Spend an amazing week using your acting skills and learning new ones to create a fantastic live theatre performance of TREASURE ISLAND! Led by professionally trained It Takes a Village co-ordinator Richard A. Paterson, this camp will help students to expand their own creative process through theatre and improv games designed to help them create characters and learn new acting techniques! Taking place on stage at the Bancroft Village Playhouse, Monday, July 11th to Saturday, July 16th, from 9 AM-4 PM. This camp, It Takes A Village, is part of Tweed & Company Theatre’s new Young Company program.  Please join our mailing list or follow our social media pages to hear more about upcoming youth performance and training opportunities.

Current government COVID-19 restrictions apply, and will be updated to reflect current restrictions. Limited space available: FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.

Camp fee per child is $260.00 + HST, and includes 2 complimentary tickets for the Saturday showcase performance of your choice.

TWEED & COMPANY Theatre is a registered charity, and is a creator and producer of Original Canadian Musical Theatre, as well as quality professional grassroots regional theatre. The company has been active since the fall of 2009, and has produced several large scale original Canadian musicals, as well as countless other Canadian productions. Tweed & Company is based in Hastings County, and owns and operates The Marble Arts Centre, as well as operating the Bancroft Village Playhouse, and the Tweed & Company Outdoor Stage.
