The Bankes Brothers are a rising force in Canadian rock, celebrated for their electrifying performances and undeniable chemistry. Hailing from Victoria, BC, the band is fronted by brothers Nelson and Morgan Bankes, with Carson Cleaver on lead guitar, Gray Oxley on bass, and Sascha Enns on drums. Their high-energy performances are a full-throttle celebration of rock ‘n’ roll, blending classic influences with a modern indie edge. Their upcoming EP, produced by Gus van Go, is a powerful collection of hook-heavy, guitar-driven, melodic rock anthems.
Vox Rea, led by sisters Kate and Lauren Kurdyak, creates cinematic indie-pop that blends poetic lyrics with lush synth textures. Their music combines the harmonies of Laurel Canyon with the dreamlike allure of Lana Del Rey and the intensity of Jeff Buckley.
