About Chef Kevin Nashan
Kevin Nashan grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, working at his family’s restaurant, La Tertulia, before earning a degree in marketing and political science from Saint Louis University. He later attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and trained at renowned restaurants including Martín Berasategui in Spain, Le Français, Commander’s Palace, and Restaurant Daniel. He also staged at the legendary El Bulli and Georges Blanc, refining his craft alongside some of the world's most celebrated chefs.
A 2017 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: Midwest, Nashan owns and operates seven restaurants across St. Louis and Tulsa, including Sidney Street Café, Peacemaker Lobster & Crab, and La Tertulia. His work has been featured in Art Culinaire, and he has had the honor of cooking for President Barack Obama. He lives between St. Louis and Tulsa with his wife, Mina, and their two sons.
