Learn the basics of spinning fibers with a drop spindle. Drop spindle spinning uses a weighted tool to add twist to fiber, turning loose wool or other prepared fiber into yarn. The spindle hangs freely as it spins, using gravity to help draft the fiber downward while twist travels upward into the fiber supply. As twist builds, the fibers lock together and form continuous yarn. Tickets are $35+fees,
Price includes a beginner drop spindle and some wool roving.

Classes are intimate small group settings. We value individual artistic expression.
Participants do not ‘copy,’ but instead, use an experimental approach as they incorporate new techniques to create works of art.
