Siouxland Foster Closet is a 501c3 nonprofit located in Sioux City, Iowa. We provide a welcoming stress-free environment where children placed into the foster care system can choose their own clothing, necessities and just-for-fun items all free of charge. Younger children can play with toys while caregivers choose the items for the child, and older children can choose and try on their own items.
Our Mission is to show the love of Christ to children placed into the foster care system by providing clothing, necessities, and just for fun items at no cost.
Our Vision is that every child impacted by foster care would feel seen, loved and worthy.
Values: We are a Christian-based organization, and we believe that every child has value in Christ. We believe that we are called to love, to care for children, and to give out of what we have by supporting children in out-of-home placement and the families caring for them.
