Single Session Workshop: Weave a 14”-16” basket using locally harvested vines as frames and dyed rattan as primary weaving materials.
Joe Bruneau first learned basket weaving in 1983 while a student at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, NC, and has been teaching ever since. In addition to Mars Landing Galleries, Bruneau's works are represented at Flow Marshall in Downtown Marshall, NC, Gallery of the Mountains in the Omni Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC, and Local Cloth in the River Arts District in Asheville, NC.
