Curious about beekeeping but not ready to take on your own hives? This hands-on experience offers a safe, guided introduction to working with live honeybee colonies.
You’ll suit up and join Jeff in the apiary as he checks on our farm’s hives, looking for signs of health, strength, and a productive season ahead. Learn how to open a hive, what to look for during an inspection, and how beekeepers make decisions to support the colony.
The Cost is $229.
Pre-registration is required & will close 2 weeks before the event on May 31st so secure spot ASAP!
What’s Included:
• Orientation and Q&A to start the day
• Full-body loaner beekeeping suit and gloves
• Guided hive inspections with instruction
• 30-minute lunch break (lunch included)

Things to Know:
• Dress in breathable layers; it will be warm inside the suit
• Closed-toe, sturdy shoes are required
• While unlikely, stings are still possible
• An EpiPen will be on hand for emergencies
• Lunch is provided and included in your ticket
