The mission of the Port Aransas Community Theatre (PACT) is to entertain, inform, and educate, thereby enriching the cultural life of the Texas Coastal Bend area. PACT shall provide area residents and visitors the opportunity to attend and participate in quality live performances of a cross-section of the finest theatrical works available. PACT shall provide education in the theatre arts to adults, young adults and children. In meeting these goals, PACT shall be mindful of the standards of its audiences and shall maintain fiscally sound management.
Description
"Beetlejuice Jr." follows Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager obsessed with death, who moves into a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and the mischievous demon Beetlejuice. Lydia initially wants Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, but Beetlejuice's plan to exploit the situation for his own gain creates chaos. The story involves the recently deceased Maitlands trying to scare away the living, Beetlejuice's attempts to manipulate them, and Lydia's journey of self-discovery amidst the supernatural events. Ultimately, everyone decides to live together in the haunted house.
