Description
Feature Film - BEGET - to Screen at Upstate Films in Kingston, NY on Saturday November 7th at 12:00pm
Kingston, NY — Upstate Films will host a screening of BEGET (2026), the paradigm-shifting new feature film.
The film will screen on: Saturday, November 7th at 12:00pm
A Queer and BIPOC Reimagining of Creation
BEGET reclaims history from day one, and makes all Queer and Everyone equal, loved, and safe. BEGET rejects the less than, unsafe, problem we are expected to be. We hope to make BEGET into a touchstone to live one's life fully, and to make BEGET a Queer Cult Film Classic.
Written and directed by John Tedeschi, BEGET is an audacious film told through a sequence of vivid parables and vignettes. The narrative creatively flips the foundations of human existence by exploring the premise: What if God’s original design for humanity was through Queer reproduction? Starring a dynamic ensemble cast and Margaret Cho as the Narrator - BEGET arrives at Upstate Films after winning awards in multiple Film Festivals including the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival.
