If you've been looking for a new craft to learn, hoping to make a gift for a loved one, or just needing some high-quality stress relief, needle felting might be the activity for you.

 

What is Needle Felting?

Needle felting is a fascinating craft that allows you to create soft, fuzzy sculptures from wool. Using a special barbed needle, you will learn how to tangle and compact wool fibers into any shape you desire.

No matter if you're a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, our Needle Felting event is designed to inspire and engage attendees of all skill levels. It is one of the most enjoyable and stress-busting crafts out there!  These classes are designed so that a complete beginner can leave with a finished item.  

 

Accessibility Notes

  • This class requires the use of very sharp needles (finger guards provided) and fine motor control.
  • This class does NOT require any previous experience.

Lex Center for Creative Reuse is a nonprofit brick and mortar creative reuse center located in Lexington, KY.  A wide and constantly changing array of art and craft supplies are available for sale.  Proceeds benefit supply grants for public school teachers, subsidize providing low-cost, high-value art and craft classes, and creating vibrant and engaging opportunities for community art.
