beginning Knitting or Crochet!! 3 Week series
your choice.
these 2 classes will run together, we are dividing up the studio, one side knitter one side crocheters. You decide which project you’d like to learn and make.
Crochet: French Market Bag (grey bag shown)
materials needed: 3 skeins of 24/7 cotton or approximately. 558 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn , this is category 4 yarn (you will see that in the label; you can find a great selection at Walmart or on line.
size US G/6 crochet hook
Knit:Fibonacci Felted Striped Bag (blue and white picture)
materials needed:: 100% wool (needed for felting) 1 skeins of for each color, bulky weight 110 yards each skein.
size 10 24 inch circular needles( could also use 10 1/2 & 11 24 inch circular needles)
size 10 double pointed needles
yarn must be wool and not white in color.
$40 for either crochet or knitting class. Choose one. Covers all 3 weeks. Students will be expected to do some knitting or crocheting at home to complete the project.
the gallery will also off an Unfinished Projects Afternoon which students may attend at no cost for extra help/time
