Step inside the creative process for a rare, behind-the-scenes musical experience at Journey Downtown.
For one evening, our theatre will open its doors to the public as a nationally touring band prepares for their upcoming tour in our professional rehearsal space. Guests will have the unique opportunity to witness the energy and artistry of a full band rehearsal as the group fine-tunes their show on Journey Downtown’s state-of-the-art sound system.
This is not a traditional concert — it’s a candid look at the work, collaboration, and musical magic that happens before the lights go up and the tour begins. Watch as songs take shape, arrangements are refined, and the band locks in their sound for the road ahead.
Whether you’re a music lover, musician, or simply curious about what happens behind the curtain, this is a rare opportunity to experience the rehearsal process in an intimate theatre setting.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the rehearsal will continue as long as the band needs to prepare.

Originally opened in 1926 as The Clark Theatre, Journey Downtown is Journey Coffee Co's all inclusive third wave coffee shop, restaurant, and performance venue in the revitalized Downtown Vacaville theater.
The theater features a state-of-the-art sound system and capacity of up to 450 guests, bringing music, shows, parties, and community events to life right on main street.
