The Liberty Crown & Curtain (LCC) is proud to present the world premiere of Beneath The Quiet, an original musical written and composed by local playwright Caden Phillips.
The Story: Welcome to Newford, a city divided. In the pristine "Uptown," Mayor Hensley reigns with an iron grip, enforcing a strict ban on music to maintain order and suppress the chaos of the past. Below, in the shadows, live the "Alley Folk"—a ragtag family of orphans and outcasts fighting to survive on scraps and silence.
But silence cannot last forever.
When Milo, Sylvie, and Eliot stumble upon a crumbling, abandoned theatre, they discover more than just dust and ghosts. They uncover the city’s lost history and a spark of rebellion that refuses to be extinguished. As the terrifying enforcer known only as "The Crow" closes in, these unlikely heroes must decide: Do they stay hidden and safe? Or do they risk everything to bring the music back?
