Share Donkeysaddle Projects and Dunya Productions proudly sponsor Alaa Shehada, a Palestinian comedian and performer who graduated from drama school of The Freedom Theatre (TFT), in Jenin refugee camp, West Bank, Palestine. He will be sharing his one man performance pieces and insights. These Seattle events are part of a larger national tour for Alaa as a fundraiser for the Freedom Theatre.
Alaa will perform from his one-person show "The Horse of Jenin" and other stand-up comedy, followed by a discussion about The Freedom Theatre's history and current work, including the recent destruction and arrests of several of TFT's key team members by the Israeli military.
These Seattle events are part of a larger national tour for Alaa as a fundraiser for the Freedom Theatre. Proceeds from both events will go towards The Freedom Theatre.
