Luck be a lady tonight! Prepare to be entertained with campy, dancy drag performances from local drag stars Betty Baker, Oktavia, and Sahira Q. That's not all! We also have six games of bingo with fabulous prizes to be won. No need to bring any bingo materials - we'll have all that for you. 

About our performers...

Betty Baker is a cabaret style drag entertainer from Peterborough Ontario, whose performances are high concept, high fashion, high energy and more than a little bit campy! You can always count on energy, comedy and an element of surprise with Betty's performances. Betty designs and sews all of her own drag costumes to connect with and enhance the content of each of her performances.  She has been performing in drag since the age of 15 and her Library Drag Storytime performances have garnered national attention. In September, Betty will begin her fourth and final year of Theatre Production and Costume Design at the Creative School of Toronto Metropolitan University. 

Sahira Q is the drag djinn of Peterborough-bold, boundless, and unapologetically intersectional. Born in Zanzibar and shaped by an immigrant upbringing in Toronto, Sahira blends makeup, costume, movement and storytelling into a fearless expression of freedom. Every performance is a mix of sharp humour, raw truth, and electrifying presence. With a background in graphic design, Sahira brings a sharp eye for detail to every look and stage moment. "Drag isn't just an art-it's a statement. A challenge. A celebration." 

The Brazilian heat is here! Oktavia is the queen from Napanee that has been bringing her queerness and chaotic Latin energy to different parts of Ontario since 2021. This gorgeous, talented, charismatic, captivating, groundbreaking and extremely humble performer loves to take the stages by storm! Most of her shows are focused on adult audiences, but her sweetness and years of experience as a youth recreational coordinator has given her the ability to also be star and a great inspiration for kids. Are you ready for some high energy and powerful performances that will make you wanna shine with her? Then hire this queen from the iconic Haus of Darlin’ for your event!
