Break free from the limitations of the traditional stage. In this innovative improv class, students will explore the art of spontaneous performance in unexpected and nontraditional spaces — from audience aisles to the street and everywhere in between. Through guided exercises, group explorations, and scene work, students will develop spatial awareness, adaptability, and the confidence to transform any environment into a living performance space.
This course draws inspiration from site-specific theatre and environmental performance, encouraging actors to engage deeply with their surroundings and reimagine the relationship between performer, audience, and space. Ideal for performers looking to expand their physical range, challenge their comfort zones, and discover the creative potential that lies beyond the stage.

Prerequisite: Some prior improv or performance experience recommended.
