Do you love getting outside on two wheels, enjoying the breeze of the open trail? Do you like the community vibe of an inclusive, all-levels ride? And are you interested in making that casual ride even more fun with tasty stops at local breweries?
If you answered yes to any of these, you should definitely join us at Arrow Adventure on March 15th to learn more about our new Bikes & Brews series. Bikes and Brews is a quarterly ride series, hosted by the Arrowleaf Co and Arrow Adventure, exploring regional bike trails, supporting local business and enjoying tasty brews.
The kickoff party will include a session on group ride etiquette with Cincinnati Cycle Club, information on the Bikes & Brews ride series, information and swag from our Trail Ales sponsor (Metroparks of Butler County!), meeting other interested riders, and of course, delish local craft brews.
Each of the four rides are mapped, guided and include swag, ride discounts, and rider insurance. Singular rides are $30 each.
WHAT BIKES & BREWS IS:
- A ride for all levels - you can go slow (especially after food and beers), or you can go fast.
- Four mapped rides, mostly on local trails, that pass through various communities and breweries.
- Happy hour prices and specials at participating locations, and a year-end party with raffle prizes.
- An inclusive and welcoming community to anyone who loves to ride with cool peeps.
- Rides that you can participate in singularly, or a series that you can register for to get special Bikes & Brews Club Merch!
WHAT BIKES AND BREWS ISN'T:
- Only for experienced cyclists - if you can ride, you can join us. We'll have riders at all levels, and no one will be left behind.
- A drinking party - we'll hang out at each stop for about an hour. No alcoholic beverages are included in the ticket price - any food or drink purchases made are at the discretion of the riders. Feel free to purchase and enjoy a beer onsite, but alcohol consumption is not a required to be part of the ride. We encourage everyone to support their local businesses however they like!
- A road ride - the majority of the miles that we cover will be mapped and on paved paths, and everyone is encouraged to enjoy them at their own pace!
- About making ANYONE feel that they aren't welcome to join.
How to get started:
- Register for single rides: Keep an eye out for the single ride postings at our Instagram page @bikesandbrewsoh. Singular rides are $30 and include, swag, discounts and mapped/guided routes. Every registered rider gets a ticket that goes into our year-end raffle prize!
- Register for the 2025 Bikes and Brews series: this includes all of the above for all four rides, plus the 2025 Bikes and Brews ride shirt, pint glass and sticker. The series cost is $155, but if you register before OR at the Bikes and Brews Kickoff Meeting, you can get all of that for $140 - a $15 savings.
Interested in helping to be a ride guide? Be sure to register on the day of the event, and receive $30 off of the Series price, or half-off the ride you want to lead, if the position has not been filled.
