They let us shenan once....we'll shenanigan! PlayHaus is back for a joyous celebration of our 21+ LGBTQIA+ community members and their invited guests.
Please join us at Shared Ground from 6p-10p for a night of music, dancing, elevated food and drinks, and Spongebob on the big screen. This party is Spongebob themed and we encourage costumes - there will be prizes. Please note, the venue will not tolerate any costumes that appropriate cultures, including the Hawaiian and Pacific Islander peoples. Luau attire from people who do not observe Luaus as a cultural practice will be asked to change or leave the venue without a refund. Our goal is to be respectful while celebrating the undersea theme.
PlayHaus Bakery will be provided elevated food (vegan and gf options) and NA drinks. While this is a 21+ party, no alcohol will be served. No outside drinks, please.
DJ Bugs Honey will be provided some Spongebob-themed dance tunes to keep the vibe going. There will be cartoons playing all night in the lounge.
Special flash tattoos provided by 444yatty. First come, first served.
Shared Ground is an ADA accessible venue with a ramp entrance in the alley entrance. The party is staged on the ground floor, meaning our guests who use mobility devices will have access to the entire party. If you would prefer to wear a mask during the party, we encourage you to do so! There is free street parking available and two ADA parking spots behind the building leading to the ramped ADA entrance.
General Admission $5
GA + VIP Swag Bag guests will receive admission plus a very limited box of baked goods.
