Description

The Bill Lynch Trio is back on tour! The Trio performs Bill’s original music from his first CD, Would You Speak on My Behalf, and from the new collection The Street of The Moon

Bill’s original songs are renowned for their diverse influences and the poignant, elegant poetry of his lyrics. Bill’s musical influences range from Blues and Folk to Latin, Irish and Balkan. His songs express his conviction that that there are real things within us that can carry us through hard times – things like memory and music and stories and love.  Bill invites us into a deeply felt world with his Irish gift of storytelling, his passionate vocals and beautiful guitar work.

Bessie Wapp expands the trio’s palette with musically intriguing accordion accompaniment and her vocal harmonies are haunting. Bessie is well known as a musician, theatre artist, educator and former Nelson Cultural Ambassador.

The stand-up bass becomes an instrument of striking eloquence in the hands of the consummate musician, Mark Spielman whose professional music career extends back 30 years. He is renowned in the Kootenays as a versatile bass player and instructor with the Selkirk College Music Program.
