Description

The Bill Simenson Orchestra is a 17 piece jazz orchestra (aka big band) based in Minneapolis, MN. Beginning in June of 2012 the orchestra has played original compositions and arrangements the first Tuesday of every month at Jazz Central Studios (407 Central Avenue SE, Mpls.). With well over 100 pieces in the library the Bill Simenson Orchestra is one of the few composer led big bands performing regularly in the Twin Cities with new pieces continually being added to the repertoire. The band is available for concert appearances as well as artistic and educational collaborations.
