About Tim Lopez
Tim Lopez has been a chef for over 25 years. He has worked at various restaurants, country clubs, and also in corporate dining for an NFL football team. While working this job, he developed a love of food culture, discovering how what people eat helps define where they come from and who they are. Chef Tim cooked in the NFL for 15 years with the same team and was invested in the food culture of players, coaches, and fans throughout the NFL. He has a passion for regional cuisine and exploring all the foods our country has to offer. He is currently a culinary arts teacher in the CTE program at Jules E Mastbaum School in Philadelphia. He lives in South Jersey with his wife, Melissa, who is a literacy teacher, his son Parker, and their two dogs.

Leigh Green is the Editor of PA Eats, a nonprofit digital publication celebrating Pennsylvania food culture and supporting food security across the state. Born just outside Philly and raised on soft pretzels and hoagies, she loves her work telling the incredible stories of PA’s culinary scene, agriculture industry and charitable food network.
