Join us for March Cookbook Club, featuring the Palate Palette series by the Taste Curators! In these independently published, limited-edition cookbooks, creators Lish Steiling and Abbey Cook link the flavor palates of food to the color palettes of design. Guests this month can choose to cook from any one of the three books in the series: Red, Yellow, or Purple/Blue.
Lish and Abbey will join us as special guests to talk about exploring what color tastes like, their belief that everything in life is connected, and how they seek out those connections in food, fashion, and design. We are honored to welcome them to Cookbook Club.
Kids and families are welcome for this colorful edition of Cookbook Club! Please add a free Kids' Ticket to your order if you plan to bring someone 10 or under.
Cookbook Club is a potluck event where everyone contributes a dish from the selected book. Here's how it works:
1) You purchase your ticket(s) from this page, with or without a copy of the book.* (We highly encourage book sharing!)
*To include a book for shop pickup with your purchase, select the discounted "Ticket + Book" option. You can then add the book of your choice to your cart after clicking "Checkout." Books will be available for pickup at Binding Agents in early March; look out for an email update!
2) One week before the event, we'll send out a Google Doc with a set number of slots per category by which the books are organized (in this case, color). Each person will claim a slot with the recipe of their choice. This ensures a good spread and a cross-section of all the books have to offer.
3) On event day, you'll bring your dish to the venue, prepared to feast. We'll talk about our experience cooking and eating, and leave with lots of great tips and new friends.
Space is limited! If the event sells out, please add yourself to the waitlist. You'll be the first to know if spots become available. To receive updates about future Cookbook Clubs (hosted monthly)—make sure you're on our mailing list.
