BLACK & LAVENDER is our third annual fundraiser for the seventh annual Black Women in Comedy Laff Fest hosted by Lavender Laughs NYC

On Sunday, January 25th, 2026, at Whiskey Cellar in the East Village, come laugh with some of the best comedians for a good cause

Featuring Sydney Duncan, Alexis Bradby, Kristal Adams, Finessica, and more to be announced, hosted by Liv Talley

Doors open 4:30, Show starts at 5pm

In addition to performances, we will raffle items TBA! Every ticket includes a raffle entry, and you get 2 more entries for every additional $5 donated.

Lavender Laughs NYC

Our mission is to empower LGBTQIA+ and women in comedy, arts and community. In an industry still heavily dominated by straight, white, cisgender men, we need opportunities created by and for us. We are not an LLC or nonprofit but rely on individual contributions.

In 2022, Lavender Laughs launched in New York City with shows and open mics. As of 2025, Lavender Laughs NYC operates in Manhattan and Queens. We have sibling organizations in Kitchener-Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) and Chicago, each produced independently.
