Join us on a soul-enriching experience as we welcome you to a Private Screening of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This is an opportunity to come together as one and reflect on the cultural significance of the film, celebrating its legacy, diversity and cultural representation.
Curating a safe space for a Q & A Healing Circle with Guest speakers sharing collective stories about culture, and identity, promoting wellness and community resilience.
Proceeds from the event will be generously donated to charities and organisations that empower marginalised communities in Australia and across Africa.
What’s included:
This is an exclusive private event we have hired the foyer of PALACE cinemas on 13 November from 2PM to 6:30PM for our guest to socialise and network.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is more than a superhero movie. It’s a masterpiece that showcases and celebrates Black excellence, narratives and unity. Exploring African culture, diversity and historical resilience. Chadwick Boseman’s legacy expands beyond the film, his is impact will live on.
In honour of his legacy, our private screening aims to empower and amplify the voices of our Sisters and Brothers within our Community; “We are all heroes of our own stories”.
Sisters Healing Space is a platform and online directory that promotes and encourages healing, mental health and well-being for women from minority and marginalised groups (Black, Indigenous and Women of Colour (BIWOC) in Australia.

Albertina Thabisani Ncube is a Creative Director, Photographer & Videographer. Essentially an all round creative. Born in Zimbabwe, raised in New Zealand and currently based in Perth, Australia, these places have helped to create who she is now. As a woman of color, Allbertina’s creative work is based on other People of Color, influenced by the lack of representation of ‘Black’ people not only in Australia but globally.
With this Albertina created ‘ABANTU Collections’ , a new creative platform and archive for all creatives who strive to show their vision and ideas to the world. Showcasing the minds of the visionaries, the creatives, the misfits and anyone who is brave enough to be unique and different. Ultimately ABANTU Collections is for you, the people.

By attending Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Private Screening hosted by Sisters Healing Space event you consent to be filmed/photographed, whereas your image, voice, and likeness may be used by Sisters Healing Space for promotional purposes. If you do not consent to your recordings or photographs being used, please contact admin@sistershealingspace.com we will ensure that your recordings/photos are excluded from our database.
We are committed to protecting your privacy online. We will not resell or disclose your information to third parties and will not sell, rent, loan, trade or lease any personal information collected at this site. Our full privacy policy can be located on our website.
Refund policy
Refunds are available 48 hours before the event. COVID-19 refunds after the 48 Hours cut off will be given a credit voucher to future Sister Healing Space events for refunds please contact admin@sistershealingspace.com.au .
This is a limited exclusive private screening, tickets will not be sold at the event. Ticket sales close on 12 November 2022 at 11:59 AWST.
Event Rules
This event is preferably 18+ event (children 13+ can attend if they are accompanied by an adult 18+. It is the responsibility of the adult to care for the minor at the event. The adult is liable for the minor at the event and ensuring young person understands and adheres to event rules and code of conduct).
We want this to be an opportunity to celebrate together in unity. By purchasing this ticket you agree to the following event rules:
· Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
· Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory abusive or harassing behaviour, materials and speech.
· Be mindful of your surroundings and other guests. Alert event organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.
The following Unacceptable behaviours will not be tolerated
· Unacceptable behaviours & materials include intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning materials or conduct by any attendees of the event and related event activities. Many event venues are shared with members of the public; please be respectful to all patrons of these locations.
· Harassment includes: offensive comments (verbal, written, or otherwise)
· Physical, written, verbal or other abuse, intimidation, threats, annoyance, harassment, stalking, pushing, shoving or use of any physical force whatsoever against any person, which in any way creates a disturbance that is disruptive or dangerous, or creates apprehension in a person, as determined by Informa and event management, in their sole discretion.
· Possessing any illegal substance, including but not limited to narcotics, marijuana, or other illegal drugs.
· Smoking – other than in designated areas.
· Assembling for the purpose of, or resulting in, disturbing the peace, committing any unlawful act or engaging in any offensive behaviour.
· Failure to obey any rules or regulations of the Venue.
CONSEQUENCES OF UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated whether by other attendees, media, speakers, volunteers, organizers, venue staff, sponsors, or exhibitors. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behaviour is expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behaviour, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including directing the attendee to leave the event without warning or refund.
Sisters Healing Space acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of this country. We acknowledge the Whadjuk Nyoongar people as the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.
