💃 Country Swing, Two-Step, Live Country Music Band & Dancing in a Historic Dupont Circle Mansion
Join us for a festive night of country swing, two-step, live music, and social dancing at the Black Tie & Boots Ball, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Set inside the historic Meserve-Lloyd House, a Tudor-style mansion built in 1912 in the heart of Dupont Circle, this cocktail-style evening brings together the energy of a country dance night with the elegance of a black-tie gala. Think festive and fun, with just enough country flair to make the dance floor come alive.
Come on your own or with friends. A partner is not needed, and dancers of all levels are welcome. The evening begins with introductory country swing and two-step lessons, perfect for newcomers and a great warm-up for experienced dancers before the live band begins.
Then dance the night away to a live band performing American favorites and swing classics in one of Washington’s most distinctive historic mansions. Whether you are part of the country dance community, new to two-step, or simply looking for a memorable night out, this is a wonderful chance to dress up, meet new people, and enjoy a lively evening of music and dancing.
Enjoy light fare throughout the evening, with drinks available for purchase at the cash bar. Kindly note that this is a cocktail-style evening rather than a seated dinner.
Ticket availability is limited, and prices are subject to increase, so early reservations are recommended.
🎟️ Attend on Your Own or with Friends
You are welcome to attend on your own or with friends. New members and first-time guests are especially welcome. The Black Tie & Boots Ball is a fun and welcoming way to meet other dancers, professionals, diplomats, and internationally minded guests from across Washington while enjoying a full evening of music and dancing.
