Three meditative solo works for guitar and for organ by Samuel Clay Birmaher, performed in the sanctuary at St. John's in the Village. In-person and livestreamed.
The centerpiece of the concert is Bleeding Heart Transformation (2022), a 40-minute movement for solo guitar. It is preceded by York Leaf (2018), for guitar, and Two Scenes (2016–2019), a diptych for organ. All first concert performances.
