We at the museum work to preserve and present the rich history of the Attleboro area with an emphasis on its industrial history. We welcome visits by individuals and groups interested in exploring Attleboro’s industrial history. We are active in making historic presentations both at the museum and out in our community.
Description
Join us for a 3 day STEM camp as we learn to program using Scratch, a free web based programming language. Scratch is designed primarily for beginners in coding to learn fundamental programming concepts in a fun, intuitive environment without the complexities of text based programming languages.
During the camp, we will learn the fundamentals and the developmental process by creating the requirements for a computer video based museum display for the “Foxboro Group” which will be displayed in the museum.
Participants should be comfortable using a laptop and mouse. If you are unsure whether your child has the necessary skill set, please feel free to reach out.
This event runs three days from Wednesday, April 22nd to Friday, April 24th. It will take place from 11:30am – 2:30pm every day. Attending all three days is mandatory.
Students must be 10 years or older. Space is limited, registration and a $15 deposit are required.
