Blue Rose

Blue Rose is a country/indie rock inspired band based out of Chicago. Their original music written by lead guitarist, Marcus Gebauer and lead vocalist, Jori Griffith, is described as 'relatable emotive story-telling with an edge.' They write what they feel and feel what they write, inspiring listeners to connect and come along for the ride. The pair met by happenstance at a party in 2022. It was one of those divinely orchestrated meetings where two strangers, both lifelong musicians, both sharing a deep love of creating and writing, and both viewing the world from a sensitive, inquisitive perspective, wound up sitting across the table from one another. Soon after that first chance encounter, the two began writing and haven’t stopped. The collaboration is truly one that only comes along once in a blue moon. While rooted in the country genre, Blue Rose describes their writing as new country with an old soul, incorporating elements of Americana, classic rock and indie jam. They began recording their first studio album in late 2023 with Chicago producer, Noam Wallenburg. Their album ‘Blue Moon’ is set to be released in the winter of 2025. Singles off their album can be heard on Spotify and other streaming platforms.

WE HOST ONE OF THE BEST OPEN MICS IN THE COUNTRY EVERY SUNDAY, WHICH IS SPONSORED BY SHURE & GREENSTAR ORGANIC BREWERY. MANY OF OUR TALENTED NIGHTLY PERFORMERS HAVE GONE ON TO CRITICAL ACCLAIM.
