Figure Drawing at The Hybrid Gallery
The Hybrid Gallery is excited to announce our first ever Live Figure Drawing Session!
Tuesday, June 17th from 6-8 PM
We will be featuring a body positive, inclusive setting with diverse models representing an array of body types. Models may be nude or clothed according to their comfort level.
We will be offering a full bar and this event session will be open to people 18 and over.
Please bring your own materials. We will have limited easels and drawing boards available, so come early to have a drink, chat with your friends, and claim your spot. Doors open at 5 PM
Mikalina (they/she) is a veteran fat liberation activist who lives in a superfat, disabled, neurospicy, white body. They have modeled for the internationally recognized queer fat photographer and activist Shoog McDaniel. Mikalina’s fat, naked body has appeared in magazines, playing cards, and wheatpaste street art campaigns. In their private practice Mikalina is a process painter and poet.
Morchella Galore, the mushroom queen will also be modeling. She brings an effervescent and whimsical energy to the game.
