2026 Boise Baroque Orchestra Summer Music Festival - A Musical Passport
We are delighted to invite you on an extraordinary journey.
This summer, the Boise Baroque Orchestra presents A Musical Passport, three concerts that cross centuries and continents, bringing the color, drama, and beauty of the Baroque era to life in two beautiful Treasure Valley venues.
Bring a friend and join the Boise Baroque Orchestra on a voyage to America during the early classical period, conducted by Interim Artistic Director Daniel Wiley.
This year marks the 250th anniversary of America's founding, and BBO commemorates it in style. Experience the pageantry and ceremony of the late eighteenth century through brilliant French theatrical marches by Lully and Haydn's Symphony No. 61, composed in the very year the Declaration of Independence was signed.
This special performance will be held indoors at Cathedral of the Rockies Boise, 717 N 11th St #4, Boise, ID 83702.
The Program
Marche pour la Ceremonie des Turcs from Bourgeois gentilhomme by Jean-Baptiste Lully
Symphony No. 61, D major by Joseph Haydn
Marche en rondeau from Alceste by Jean-Baptiste Lully
