Description

Join us for a special gathering celebrating our two resident paper makers, Heather Peters & Judi Tentor, who will discuss history of paper, explore the art and process of handmade paper making, and reflect on their personal journeys as paper artists. Learn what drew them to this wonderfully tactile craft, what inspires their work, and why handmade paper continues to hold such creative possibilities.

Following the discussion, Heather & Judi will demonstrate how they pull sheets of paper — and then attendees can try pulling their own. Come curious, connect with fellow book arts enthusiasts, and discover the magic of turning humble fibers into something beautiful, meaningful, and entirely your own. Light refreshments will be served.

This event is presented by the Book Arts Guild at the International Printing Museum. The Guild envisions a thriving community of artists and book arts enthusiasts who inspire creativity, connection, and education. We strive to bridge the past and future by celebrating the traditions of the book arts, encouraging innovation, nurturing makers, and cultivating a lifelong appreciation for printing and bookmaking.
