Description
Join us for a book signing followed by a conversation with artist Tommy Kha exploring the highly personal relationship between his photography and his hometown, Memphis. Kha will sign copies of his first major monograph Tommy Kha: Quarter, Half, Full (Aperture, 2022); copies will be available purchase from the Museum Store. Kha’s photo-based installation in the museum’s rotunda Tommy Kha: Eye is Another is presented as part of the inaugural Tennessee Triennial for Contemporary Art organized by Tri-Star Arts. The evening will conclude with a reception celebrating the Memphis Highlight Weekend of the Tennessee Triennial.
