Borders, Borders and more Borders with Lois Mueller

  • Class Length:  7 hours    8a-4p
  • Surface:  Paper
  • Level: All are welcome 
  • Objective: Using a liner, a filbert, and a sponge to create borders for your work.  This is a hands-on-create-your-own borders class using C and S strokes, teardrops, dots, and fine lines to create a border that will accent the pieces you paint. 
  • Medium: Acrylic, but oils are welcome

Price includes class and surface.

 

Supplies: You may bring your designs, and we will create borders, especially for those pieces, or you can create borders for designs that are available in the class.  It would be great if you brought practice surfaces in your favorite background colors.  (These surfaces could be backgrounded poster boards, cereal boxes, etc.  Again, what you usually use for practice.) 

 

To register for classes you must have registered for the Rosemaling Coast to Coast 2023 Convention.

Rosemaling Coast to Coast, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized to celebrate the art of Norwegian rosemaling through a national organization that supports and enriches the artistic activities of the individual. Members study, paint, teach, and promote the love of rosemaling. The skillset is broad, from beginners to highly-skilled, award-winning artists.
