Description
Get painting with SassaBird-featured artist Lyndy Bush (click / tap to see her amazing work.)! At this BYOB class, we'll be using classical techniques in oil painting, focused on underpainting and field blocking. This class is perfect for anyone - from novices to the seasoned professionals. Using our still life plants, provided by Green Lady Gardens, the will be on design and tonal values. Lyndy will be assisted by our host, Sara "Sassa" Geller. We will begin with a design phase using underpainting. Then, we will learn to block in fields of color and tonal values. While the paint is drying, we will learn about glassing techniques and final touches. Participants will be encouraged to take home their plants (included!) and left-over paint pallet and glaze their paintings in a follow-up class. That is included in the cost of this class. Class is $50.00.
