This class is especially close to our hearts. Chef Gwyn's mother grew up in the restaurant, where family life revolved around the kitchen, the dining room, and the waterfront. Together, mother and daughter will share stories, memories, and recipes inspired by some of Bowen's Inn's most beloved dishes—favorites that kept guests coming back year after year and remain cherished family traditions today.
Join us for an evening of delicious food, local history, and heartfelt storytelling as we honor one of Solomons' most iconic gathering places—one unforgettable bite at a time.

First Course: Friend Shrimo or Corn Fritters
Main Course: Crab Imperial, Fried Chicken, Green Beans, Violet's Biscuits

What To Expect
Instructor: Chef Gwyn Novak, with special guest, her mother, Bonnie XXXXX
Length: Approximately 2 hours.
Format: Experience: This is not a Hands-On Class. The Chef cooks the meal while you sit back and enjoy. Come with friends or family, mingle at your table, enjoy beverages, and relax in this restaurant-style evening.
Location: First floor.
Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
All students will receive 10% off any scheduled public class(es) purchased that evening.

General Admission: Arrive up to one hour before the start of class to enjoy cocktail hour at NTTC's fully-stocked bar.
