Unlock the secrets of coffee brewing and tasting. Taking every step from bean to cup, you’ll gain a new appreciation for this amazing pick-me-up.

No Thyme To Cook's David Slusher, coffee connoisseur, is highlighting Thereasa Black of Better Black Coffee, https://betterblackcoffee.com, located out of Leonardtown, Maryland, in this rich coffee class! Thereasa will show off her counter-top sample roaster to brew some fresh Guatemalan Caramel coffee beans during class, guiding you through a tasting of freshly roasted coffee so you can compare it to a coffee that has been allowed to rest and off-gas. Thereasa, also Chef and owner of Bon AppéSweet in Leonardtown, will bring some of her hand-crafted chocolate dipped Biscotti cookies for you to enjoy with your coffee. 

 

Food & Coffee Menu

  • 2 cups Guatemalan Caramel
  • Chocolate Dipped Biscotti

Mimosa kits are available for purchase. 

 

What To Expect

Each guest will receive two cups of freshly brewed coffee freshly roasted, and one pastry. Get ready to add some pep to your step!

  • Lead by Coffee Connoisseur David
  • Length: Approximately 2 hours
  • Format: Demonstration.
  • Bags of coffee from Better Black Coffee will be available for purchase the day of the class. 
  • Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

 

All students will receive 10% off any scheduled public class(es) purchased that evening.

 

Experience Options 

  • General Admission: Arrive at the start of class.
  • The bar will be closed for this morning class.
  • Allergies: We will attempt to accommodate any true medical allergy with advance notice. Please indicate allergies when completing ticket purchase.
