“Briauna VS. The Darkest Timeline”
As some of you know, I am a local event-haver and creative who has been hosting events since 2018 via Stay Litt PDX.
I began creating films in 2024 when I won an award for my micro short SUCK, a story about a vampire on a dating app.
In 2025, I also got the crazy idea that I could make a feature about centering joy during grief, and it was inspired by real-life experiences. It is called Killing Kyle.
The desire to be an indie filmmaker was nuts in and of its own, but it became even more ambitious when aspects about my real life started falling apart.

So currently, my feature’s production is on a sustained pause, but my life has gone on!
Yay?
Due to my reputation for hosting a yearly party around my bday, I feel compelled to still celebrate my strange life and also celebrate the hope that one day I can complete my feature…we shall see ;).
In prior years, my events have been a little extravagant, so this event will be scaled down.
It will, however, have snacks and drinks, a theme (Peter Pan, costumes are strongly encouraged), and the attendance of a very short, well-meaning fairy who enjoys falling in love with the wrong people…Tinker Bell herself?
No, silly reader, I am talking about ME.
Additionally, there will be a table read of my favorite episode of Community “Remedial Chaos Theory” because it seems appropriate ;).
The read will be done by local actor/friends of mine :).
Donations are encouraged, but no one will be turned away (unless they behave badly).
Additionally, it’s a private venue so RSVPs are required in order to get the address.

Shoutout to my friend Kristen Pizzo who will be in charge of the decorations <3 and my beloved friend Pat Janowski who is incredible and allowing me to use her and her wonderful husband’s space Le Salon Rouge to host the event.

Access info: This space features one single use bathroom and is on one floor. There is a gravel pathway to enter, and I will try and find materials in order to ensure that wheelchair users can enter.
