Act for a Change presents "Bridges Over Barriers"
Join us for an evening of theatre for charity, featuring four original one-act plays created and performed by local Atlanta artists.
All profits will be donated to the LaAmistad, an Atlanta-based non-profit organization that works to empower Latino students and families to achieve their ultimate potential. LaAmistad provides a comprehensive programming structure that incorporates activities for kids and adults.
Bridges Over Barriers is a collection of four short plays inspired by our sincere desire to always choose to extend a hand. Featuring the works of Sofia Palmero, Maya Torres, Avery Sharpe, and Justin Lawson Isett - this show explores themes of cultural identity, family struggles, personal growth, and the defiance of societal expectations. Bridges Over Barriers has a viewer rating of 13+.
There will be a 15-minute intermission.
