Enjoy Concordia University Irvine's production of "Bright Star: Concert Version" filmed in the Concordia University Irvine Studio Theatre. The Theatre Department has been hard at work in their production of their upcoming musical "Bright Star," navigating around COVID-19 to bring this production to life. The cast utilized the Borland-Manske Center's Recording Suite to record voice and music, while they lip-sync on stage.

When successful literary editor Alice Murphy meets an ambitious young soldier just home from World War II, their connection inspires Alice to confront her past. Together they discover a stunning secret with the power to transform their lives. With a gorgeous bluegrass score & book by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, you won’t want to miss this heartwarming story of love and perseverance.
