Brother Bird is the project of singer/songwriter Caroline Glaser, a St. Louis native now based in Atlanta, whose work blends intimate, confessional lyricism with atmospheric indie textures. Drawing influence from Mazzy Star, Big Thief, and The Cranberries, her catalog spans a self-titled EP, the LP Gardens (made with friends and mentors Andy Hull and Robert McDowell of Manchester Orchestra), and her 2024 Easy Does It Records debut Another Year, co-produced with Owen Lewis.

Her third LP, The Lodge in Miller County, arrives September 25, 2026. It is a concept album inspired by Rumi's poem “Guest House,” with each track voiced by a different character staying at a fictitious lodge in central Missouri. “I started making up little characters each day and writing songs from their point of view,” Glaser says. “It always ended up being a good mix of fact and fiction, allowing me to say the ugly thing without fully claiming it as my own.” The record was produced by Glaser with Jamie Martens, Owen Lewis, and Andy Hull, and features Hull on “Spectacle.”

Beyond Brother Bird, Glaser co-founded Funambulist with longtime collaborator Kevin Devine, opened for and accompanied Devine on the Make the Clocks Worse tour along with Bad Books dates, and was invited to sing on Bad Books 2 (Revisited) alongside Hull and McDowell. In 2026 she was named direct (and only) support on Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra's Spring/Summer tour, with a West Coast run alongside Manchester Orchestra this September.
