Brown Sugar Babe brings together music, cocktails, bites, culture, and community for a soft luxe day party in the heart of Winston-Salem.
Brown Sugar Babe will also serve as a celebration and closeout experience for the final day of The International Black Theatre Festival* weekend in Downtown Winston-Salem.
* An event that happens every two years and brings thousands of accomplished actors directors and patrons of the performing arts to the beautiful city of Winston-Salem.
The Melanin Table is a sisterhood that curates elevated events and experiences for melanated women ages 30+ who value connection, community, culture, and meaningful experiences. We believe there’s power in what happens when women gather intentionally around the table.
Brown Sugar Babe is more than a day party. It’s a beautifully curated space where melanated women can be poured into, seen, celebrated, and connected. Like any memorable table, the magic isn’t just in what’s served, it’s in who’s seated around it.

Parking Information
Parking is limited directly in front of the venue. We encourage guests to arrive early and allow a few extra minutes for parking and check-in.
As Brown Sugar Babe takes place on the final day of the International Black Theatre Festival, downtown Winston-Salem is expected to be busy with festival attendees and thousands of visitors throughout the day.

There is ample parking within a short walking distance of the venue.

Do you offer group ticket options?
Yes. Group ticket options are available while supplies last. Please click RSVP to view current ticket packages and availability.
Will tickets be available at the door?
We strongly encourage purchasing tickets in advance. Due to limited capacity, tickets may not be available at the door once the event sells out.
What is your refund policy?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest. Brown Sugar Babe will not issue refunds for schedule conflicts, travel delays, weather conditions, or other personal circumstances.
In the event that Brown Sugar Babe is canceled by the organizers, ticket holders will be notified regarding available options.
