Description
To kick off freshman year with a little color and a lot of fun, WHRHS Be the Change is offering to FLOCK-A-FRESHMAN.
A flamboyance of pink flamingos is ready to welcome freshman to their first year at Watchung Hills Regional High School. (Any group of birds can be called a flock, but a group of flamingos is specifically known as a 'flamboyance').
Several flocks of long-legged, pink birds have been circling the district, looking for places to land. Why not on the front lawn of an unsuspecting freshman student? For $15 to the Be The Change, a flock will spend a day frolicking on a freshman’s front lawn. These birds fly at night, so they are likely to remain on the lawn for less than 24 hours. But, if you do not wish to ever see a pink flamingo on your lawn, for $15 you may purchase “Insurance for the Prevention of Large Pink Birds.”
Flocking can only be scheduled after this form and payment have been received. Deadline to receive requests is September 23rd. Please contact Rebecca Brown at rbrown@whrhs.org with any questions.
